Project NIMPE to be launched at the first edition of Volume Showcase Festival

Project NIMPE, funded by the European Union, will be launched at the Volume Showcase Festival. Its aim is to support and encourage the internationalization of companies that produce live music throughout Europe.
For the next 30 months, NIMPE will try to facilitate the exchange of information and provide practical tools to help small and medium-sized enterprises in the field to develop their business.
Project partners besides Assomusica are Danish Den Selvejende Institution Swinging Europe, Drustvo Studentski kulturni Centre from Slovenia, M.E.S.O. Music Events, in Greece, Root Music LTD from Great Britain and the French Technopole Quimper-Cornuaille.
The Volume Showcase Festival will be held in Athens from the 2nd to 4th February 2017. The conference introducing NIMPE will happen on the 3rd.

11:45 to 12:10: NIMPE: "A new initiative for the European Live Music Sector", with Paolo Varriale, Francesca Billi, Steen Mikkelsen Norman Storm
12:15 to 13:15: Coach Session: "The basic principles of organizing a music event" with Nikos Stefanidis, Lida Roumani, Dimitris Lilis

14:40 to 15:40 Panel discussion: "(What) does a band need to play abroad?" with Marton Naray, Zsolt Jeges, Michal Wojcik, Bojan Bo Boiadjiev
15:50 to 17:00 Panel discussion: "Grass root talents -emergence through local festivals" with Mike Tsepelis, Nikos Barpakis, Lazaros Damanis
