Assomusica, Milano Music Week partner

Music means art, culture, it is a job for many, a business. Milan is the city where music plays a big role, for the town is the ideal platform to this industry professionals. Unnumebered cultural events take place here during the whole year: design, photography, fashion, literature, name it. Milan Music Week is one of those many events, whose purpose is to gain together all the actors of this wonderful play, which is music. People involved have an italian, domestic, role and background, but all of them have the undisputed drive to put the event under an international perspective.

Strongly supported by the Municipality of Milan, MMW has among its partners: SIAE (Italian Society of Authors and Publishers), FIMI (Italian Music Industry Federation), Assomusica (Association of live music shows producers and organizers), Nuovo Imaie (Istituto Mutualistico Artisti Interpreti ed Esecutori, a collecting society dealing with the performer’s neighboring rights), and all those companies which usually work for small and medium shows. MMW is a very intersting week, as special initiatives will come to happen in a large number: concerts, gigs, all-access hours with musicians, showcases and some surprises.
